Role Overview

The Product Manager will lead the strategy, design, and execution of Hub Afrique’s products. You will be responsible for defining product vision, gathering and prioritizing requirements, coordinating with developers/designers, and ensuring that our products deliver value to learners, builders, and employers within the ecosystem.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the product roadmap across ProLab, iHub, and ProHub stages.
  • Translate the company’s vision into user-centric product features.
  • Conduct user research, analyze data, and gather feedback to improve the platform experience.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to deliver seamless UI/UX for web and mobile apps.
  • Work with marketing and community teams to ensure successful product adoption and engagement.
  • Define and track KPIs for product performance, growth, and retention.
  • Ensure platform integrations (e.g., LMS, AI job-matching, Discord community, payment systems) align with business goals.
  • Stay ahead of edtech and talent-matching trends, applying them to Hub Afrique’s product evolution.
  • Manage product backlog and prioritize features based on impact and resource availability.
  • Support fundraising and partnership conversations with product demos, strategy decks, and growth metrics.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in edtech, SaaS, or startup environments.
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX, agile development, and product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and marketers.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in analytics tools (Mixpanel, GA, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bonus: skills in design (Figma) or video editing for product storytelling.
  • Passionate about empowering African talent and global innovation.
