Definition of the job

Responsible for setting up, managing, and maintaining the company’s entire IT environment, ensuring the reliable operation of systems, networks, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity. Provides technical support, ensures data protection compliance, and implements IT policies.

Activities

• Managing and support Cloud Solutions, including M365, Google Workspace, and Domain Management;
• Installing, administering and diagnosing software’s (Kaspersky, SAP, MIG, Foss, Software);
• Installing, Configuring, troubleshooting and Maintaining Workstations (VMware’s, Desktops, Laptops and Mobile);
• Administering, Maintaining and Configuring Microsoft Server (AD, DHCP, DNS, Azure AD, File Server);
• Administering, Configuring, troubleshooting and Maintaining SQL Database Server;
• Setting up accounts for staff (Mailboxes, SAP, SQL, MIG, Server and Desktops) ensuring that they know how to log in and Solving password problems;
• Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining PBS Telephony Systems and Surveillances System (CCTV & Access Control System);
• Configuring and troubleshooting weighing machine (Bilancia Flynet50);
• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting printers and scanners;
• Oversee and administer internal and external Network (Fiber Broadband, Mikrotik, Cisco, TP-Link routers and switches etc.);
• Cybersecurity protocols, DNS, Firewalls and Familiarity with VPNs technology;
• Ensuring data protection, ISO certification, and compliance with Ghana Data Protection Commission requirements;
• Maintaining regular data backups and disaster recovery procedures- database sql (SAP).

Note: Performs other related activities as required.

Specific requirements for the work position

Qualifications and prerequisite:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or network engineering or proven experience as IT Officer/Administrator, IT Specialist, IT Helpdesk or relevant position;
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA N+, CompTIA A+, MCITP or equivalent is an advantage;
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, cybersecurity, cloud solutions data privacy principles;
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks;
• Good knowledge of Cybersecurity and Data privacy;
• Knowledge in Graphic Design and video editing.
