The Role
As the Social Marketing and Content Lead you’ll be responsible for much of how Ethena’s public brand and persona is perceived by the world. You’ll improve social and community engagement, take a major role in driving the adoption of Ethena’s products and have a direct impact in the level of success for all that we do. You will be the primary voice of Ethena.
This role involves overseeing all aspects of Ethena’s social media strategy, content creation, community engagement, and public communications. Utilising your deep understanding of crypto ecosystems, emerging trends, and audience behaviours, while collaborating with multiple teams internally and externally, you’ll maintain a consistent narrative of all that Ethena does, growing our markets and ever deepening relationships with our audiences and communities.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media marketing strategy aligned with the company’s vision and business objectives.
- Improve Ethena’s visibility on social platforms, both through further developing individual team member and company accounts.
- Continuously produce aesthetic visuals and engaging informative content highlighting new products, partnerships, user utility and growth metrics.
- Work with internal and external designers to enhance Ethena’s branding for content.
- Maintain content libraries, calendars and pipelines for various teams.
- Play a role on the Converge initiative with Securitize, to attract new projects and products to build within the ecosystem and attract users to those protocols and products. Be a mentor/advisor to ecosystem teams, ensuring Ethena’s brand can be felt throughout the ecosystem while allowing projects to maintain their own personalities
- Build an industry leading Community, hosting events at conferences, on social media, Discord, and other platforms.
What We’re Looking For
- Deep social media marketing experience in crypto, specifically X/Twitter and runs or has run a high profile X/twitter account.
- Plugged into industry trends, with a strong understanding of crypto and DeFi concepts, including familiarity with regulatory considerations in crypto marketing.
- Previous success driving brand growth, user acquisition, and community engagement in the Web3 space.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Figma to aid content production.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a talent for storytelling.
