Role Description
The Information Technology Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company’s websites and web applications to support marketing, sales, and customer engagement. Day-to-day tasks include building responsive user interfaces, implementing secure back-end functionality, integrating third-party tools, and optimizing site performance and accessibility. The role also involves collaborating with design, marketing, and sales teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, updating content as required, and ensuring consistent branding and user experience across digital platforms. The Web Developer will monitor site analytics, troubleshoot technical issues, and apply best practices in cybersecurity and data protection. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra.
Qualifications
- Strong Web Development and Information Technology skills, with experience managing and maintaining modern web platforms.
- Proficiency in Front-End Development (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, front-end frameworks) for building responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including server-side languages, databases, and APIs.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization, security best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with content management systems, version control (e.g., Git), and cloud or hosting environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and an interest in the real estate or property development sector is beneficial.
