LFG is seeking a talented, diligent Full Stack Developer with an emphasis on front-end development. The work of the full stack developer would be geared towards building technology solutions that would drive the vision and mission of Lead For Ghana. Additionally, the successful candidate will work to ensure that data is collected and utilized efficiently in the organization. As a full stack developer, this individual will report to the Director of Research, Technology and Innovation.
Responsibilities
- Build mobile applications and websites using provided UI/UX designs
- Build server applications
- Deploy server applications on cloud services like AWS and DigitalOcean
- Deploy mobile applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- Perform unit and end-to-end testing
- Provide technical support to end users of applications built
- Provide documentation and training to help end users to use applications
Competencies Required
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and other frontend web frameworks
- Flutter and Dart for mobile development
- TypeScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS and other backend technologies
- Databases (MongoDB)
- Optional: Python, Machine Learning, and AI
- Optional: UI/UX design
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Experience in web and mobile development
Non-Technical Proficiency
- Analytical and good problem-solving skills
- Must be values-driven and self-motivated
- Must have a deep conviction of LFG’s Theory of Change
- Ability to develop strategic plans in a start-up environment and execute successfully against that plan
