Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a DevOps Engineer located in Legon. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing infrastructure as code (IaC), software development processes, continuous integration pipelines, and system administration tasks. Daily tasks may include setting up and maintaining Linux servers, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the seamless integration of various software tools.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and System Administration
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
- Understanding of software development and continuous integration practices
- Proficiency in working with Linux systems
- Ability to demonstrate ingenuity and the proper use of AI tools to drive automation
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Legon
- Bachelor’s degree (or ongoing studies) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
