What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who can help us set up, automate, and manage our infrastructure so our team can move fast without breaking things. If you’re someone who gets excited about clean deployments, fast pipelines, and stable systems, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

AWS Infrastructure Management

• Manage EC2 instances for staging and production environments
• Configure and maintain AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

Containerization & Orchestration

• Maintain Docker configurations for all services (API, UI, Management Dashboard).
• Manage Docker-Compose setups for development and production.
• Optimize containers for performance and security.

Database Administration

• Manage PostgreSQL databases across development and production.
• Handle migrations, schema changes, backups, and recovery strategies.

Monitoring & Logging

• Implement monitoring solutions (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
• Set up centralized logging (e.g., ELK Stack, Loki).
• Create alerting mechanisms for critical system issues.

Security Implementation

• Enforce SSL/TLS for secure communications.
• Manage secrets and sensitive data (JWTs, API keys, encryption keys).
• Conduct periodic security audits and apply best practices

Deployment Automation

• Maintain and improve deployment scripts.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement blue-green or canary deployments.

Qualification and Experience

Technical Skills

• Proficient with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM).
• Strong Docker and containerization skills.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Familiarity with Nginx (reverse proxy, SSL setup).
• Startup experience is a plus

Programming & Scripting

• Bash/Shell scripting proficiency.
• Basic Python understanding (to read and debug backend code).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Security & Monitoring

• Understanding of web app security (OWASP, SSL/TLS, secrets management).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
• Ability to implement secure deployment pipelines.
