This position is based in Accra, Ghana.
Responsibilities
With a focus on user experience, function, and quality, you will:
- Work with your fellow engineers and stakeholders to contribute to designing and developing solutions and help us deliver the best product possible
- Use JavaScript, PHP, and other tools and frameworks to develop fast and stable production ready applications
- Follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process models, including Agile/Scrum methodologies, as well as full life cycle project management experience

Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on front-end modern, evolving technologies.
- Expertise in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
- Hands-on experience with next-gen frameworks like Laravel or Node.js to build robust, flexible applications.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and data integration strategies (JSON, XML, SOAP).
- Familiarity with Web Components, responsive design principles, and CSS Grid/Flexbox for cutting-edge, adaptive UIs.
- Strong experience in cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, including mobile-first design and progressive enhancement.
- Ability to translate Figma/Sketch/XD design systems into responsive, accessible web applications.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
- Proficiency in modern backend technologies and architectures, including LAMP stacks, cloud-native development (AWS, Azure), and serverless architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), ensuring smooth, automated deployments.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and commitment to iterative development and continuous improvement.
- Focus on accessibility and inclusive design principles, ensuring web applications meet WCAG 2.1 standards.
