We are in search of a highly motivated and technically competent Technical Presales Engineer who will support our sales and technical teams in designing, proposing, and delivering enterprise-grade IT solutions.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with client needs.Responsibilities
- Engage clients to understand business and technical requirements across networking, infrastructure, cloud, and security domains
- Design and propose end-to-end IT solutions including:
- Enterprise Networking (LAN/WAN/WiFi)
- Data Centre & Server Infrastructure
- VoIP Telephony Systems
- CCTV & Security Solutions
- Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BoM), Bill of Quantities (BoQ), and technical proposals
- Support RFP/RFI responses for enterprise and government tenders
- Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs)
- Work closely with OEM partners (Cisco, Fortinet, Dell, HPE, Microsoft, etc.) to develop competitive solutions
- Collaborate with Sales, Technical, and Procurement teams to ensure accurate solution costing and delivery
- Support project handover to implementation teams with complete documentation
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and vendor certifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or systems engineering
- Strong understanding of:
- Networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls)
- Servers & Storage (Dell/HPE)
- Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365)
- Security solutions (Fortinet, Sophos, etc.)
- Experience in preparing technical proposals and BoMs
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and multi-site deployments
- Professional certifications are an advantage:
- Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)
- Microsoft (Azure / M365)
- Fortinet NSE

- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of Ghanaian IT market, pricing structures, and procurement processes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player with high professionalism and accountability
