Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions that support our growing suite of digital products.
You will work across both front-end and back-end systems, contributing to scalable applications, APIs, and integrations that drive business growth and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications across the full stack
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services (payments, telecom, airtime, etc.)
- Develop responsive and high-performance user interfaces
- Architect backend systems, databases, and microservices for reliability and scalability
- Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver functional solutions
- Optimize applications for speed, security, and performance
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and deployment
- Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and best practices
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5+ years experience in full stack development
- Strong proficiency in:
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Next.js or similar
- Backend: Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL – PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience with testing (unit, integration) and performance optimization
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience in fintech, payments, or telecom systems
- Familiarity with USSD, mobile money, or airtime integrations
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Understanding of security best practices in financial systems
- Experience working in Agile environments
