As part of our digital innovation efforts, we developed AYAT, our flagship digital platform. AYAT is an AI-powered marketplace that digitizes the collection, sourcing, and purchasing of e-waste by connecting e-waste generators, local recyclers, and off-takers to enable easy and seamless trade.

The AYAT Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall coordination, growth, management, and continuous improvement of the AYAT platform. The successful candidate will serve as the lead person coordinating the product’s development, maintenance, scaling, user engagement, and strategic expansion.
This role requires a combination of product management, technical expertise, innovation, and operational coordination. The selected candidate will work closely with developers, users, partners, and management to ensure the platform continues to evolve and deliver value across the circular economy ecosystem.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management, maintenance, and operational coordination of the AYAT platform
- Coordinate and support the development, testing, and deployment of new platform features and functionalities
- Support the design and development of additional digital tools and components connected to the AYAT ecosystem
- Write, review, and contribute to code development where necessary
- Work with programming languages including Java, Python, and C++
- Support the integration and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions within the platform
- Develop and implement strategies to increase platform growth, user adoption, and engagement
- Coordinate user onboarding and organize training and support sessions for platform users and stakeholders
- Monitor product performance, identify gaps, and recommend innovative improvements
- Coordinate communication between technical teams, users, partners, and management
- Support digital innovation initiatives, partnerships, and product scaling opportunities
- Represent AppCyclers and the AYAT platform during meetings, workshops, conferences, and project-related activities, including international engagements where required
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be between 20 and 35 years old
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Product Management, or a related field
- Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a developer, product manager, technical lead, or in a related role
- Demonstrate practical experience in Java, Python, and C++ programming
- Have knowledge or experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital products, or emerging technologies
- Possess strong technical, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Have excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Be willing to work full-time and be physically based in Tamale
- Possess a valid passport and be willing to travel outside Ghana for work-related assignments
Salary
