JOB SUMMARY
Mybitstore Technologies Limited is a leading cryptocurrency trading platform providing innovative payment solutions for startups, individuals, and established firms. We are a creative and fast-paced tech space that fosters both social and professional growth among our team.
We are seeking a skilled Back End Developer to join our team and be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing server-side logic, databases, APIs, integrations, and system architecture that power company applications and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and maintain APIs that allow the front end to communicate with the backend.
- Structure, design, and manage databases (SQL and NoSQL) to store, retrieve, and update data efficiently.
- Writing optimized queries for CRUD operations and maintaining data integrity.
- Implement data security measures, backups, and recovery plans.
- Plan and develop the structure of server-side components and how they interact with the front end and other services.
- Ensure that the backend can scale to handle increasing amounts of traffic and optimize it for performance.
- Implement secure authentication and ensure only authorized users have access to the system.
- Protect sensitive data using encryption protocols and secure storage practices.
- Identify and fix security issues such as SQL injections, cross-site scripting, etc.
- Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between the front and back ends.
- Manage the flow of data between the front end and the backend, ensuring that APIs are reliable and deliver the correct responses.
- Use version control systems like Git for code management, collaboration, and tracking changes.
- Any other related duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in backend languages/frameworks (Node.js, Python, Go, etc.)
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of cloud services and version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
