This app fills a critical information gap in Ghana by providing timely pollution levels, health advice, and notifications to the public, including decision-makers. Key features include live pollutant maps, pollutant-specific indices (such as PM2.5, PM10, NO₂, and O₃), forecasts with alerts, and historical trends. AeroHealth App empowers individuals and communities to make informed decisions for better health outcomes.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Software Application Developer. The Software Application Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, programming, working with databases, and integrating various components. The developer will also implement and manage front-end design using CSS.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming
- Experience with Databases
- Strong knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for front-end design
- Skills in Integration
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in air quality monitoring or environmental health is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
