pawaTech is looking for a Senior User Researcher with an inherent passion for teamwork and a collaborative spirit. As a Senior User Researcher, you will be focusing on understanding user needs and behaviours to inform product development. You will take ownership of research initiatives, from planning through to analysis, ensuring insights are actionable and drive meaningful improvements.

What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and executing research studies across product teams, from exploratory research to usability validation;
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, surveys, usability testing, etc.);
- Turn raw data into clear, actionable insights that influence product strategy;
- Share research findings in digestible formats for both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Partner with PMs, designers, and engineers to ensure user insights are integrated into roadmaps and design decisions;
- Maintain research documentation and repositories using Confluence, Slite, and Figma;
- Continuously improve our research processes and advocate for user-centric product development.
What makes you a great candidate:
- A degree in psychology, HCI, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in user research for digital products;
- Expertise in research methods: surveys, interviews, usability testing, ethnography;
- Experience with non-Western markets and low-tech environments;
- Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams;
- Analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights;
- Proficient with Figma, Jira, Confluence, and managing technical setups;
- Willingness to travel.
