About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our SAP Center of Excellence. You will be responsible for developing robust, scalable, and high-performance customizations and enhancements within the SAP S/4HANA landscape. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ABAP development tools, SAP modules (particularly SD, FI, and FICO), and modern S/4HANA development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
- Develop in the S/4HANA environment using ABAP for HANA, Core Data Services (CDS), and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
- Work closely with functional consultants (SD, FI, FICO) to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement and maintain OData services and integrate with Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Perform technical testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Utilize Object-Oriented ABAP, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks.
- Collaborate in Agile teams and participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily scrums.
- Ensure technical documentation and coding standards are maintained.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on ABAP development experience in SAP environments, including at least one S/4HANA project.
- Strong expertise in RICEF developments and integration using IDocs, BAPIs, and BDCs.
- Proficient in CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
- Experience working with SD, FI, and FICO modules from a technical perspective.
- Solid understanding of SAP Enhancement techniques, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex requirements.
- Effective communication skills to work with functional and business teams.
Preferred Skills
- SAP Certification in ABAP or S/4HANA Development.
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and front-end integration.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SAP BTP, or SAP Integration Suite is a plus.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
