The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products and growth features.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science field
- Experience using SAS, SQL, R and/or Python
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Qlik/Tableau/Power BI is highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder management skills including advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Exposure to Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive etc. is a plus
- Applied knowledge of data science techniques
- Hands-on experience in data mining and application of machine learning techniques
- Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours). We are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Develop tools to process data streams and static data
- Translate business challenges into data science problems and applications
- Communicate complex solutions in a clear, understandable way to non-experts
- Design algorithms, build models and prototype solutions for multiple business areas
- Build and maintain software solutions while contributing to large-scale object-oriented applications
- Work on evolving data architectures and system solutions
- Abstract complex business problems and determine how to use a combination of data to provide a clear, actionable and business-driven answer in a clear, compelling way
