This role is at the heart of our operational reliability: owning incident intake and triage processes, coordinating on-call workflows, and driving the operational health of our platform. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous situations, brings rigor to incident response and escalation, and has a proven track record of building durable operational processes from the ground up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-responsibilities\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Serve as the connective tissue across engineering, product, and customer success teams: driving clarity, alignment, and accountability on cross-functional programs and initiatives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead incident response coordination for production and platform issues \u2014 managing communication across teams during active incidents, driving post-incident reviews, and translating learnings into durable process and runbook improvements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Define, document, and continuously mature on-call processes and support escalation workflows; ensure on-call responsibilities are clearly owned, well-documented, and consistently followed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide regular, clear status reporting to engineering leadership and business stakeholders \u2014 translating technical detail into actionable executive narratives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and sequencing risks; maintain a clear picture of program health and communicate it proactively to all relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with engineering leads to define operational KPIs and OKRs; use metrics to drive decision-making and surface risks early<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive continuous improvement of SDLC practices, delivery tooling, and operational processes across the organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-required-qualifications\">Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3+ years of experience in technical program or project management in a software or platform environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience owning or coordinating incident intake, triage, and response workflows, post-incident reviews, and on-call process documentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong cross-organizational communication and influence skills \u2014 with proven experience driving process change and establishing programs, ceremonies, and operational workflows from the ground up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong experience with Jira and GSuite required; experience administering and restructuring a Jira instance for engineering teams strongly preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be a US citizen living within the United States<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">$130,000 &#8211; $160,000 a year<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BENEFITS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We offer highly competitive benefits, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Health and Family<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8211; Medical\/Dental\/Vision<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Employee Premiums are 100% Company Paid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Life Insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Flexible Work Hours&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) with federal government holidays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Financial<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8211; Competitive Compensation&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; 401k&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Company Stock Options<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Home Office Setup Budget<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8211; Reimbursement for approved trainings and subscriptions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Conferences (travel, lodging, and fees)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note &#8211; some benefits are not available to interns or contractors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you for your interest in Istari.
