Our current team consists of around 22 engineers, including backend, frontend, and platform engineers. They work alongside 150 talented engineers across the rest of our engineering function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s a lot to do, from building and integrating new APIs to further improving the customer journey and optimising the lending platform to deep architectural discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zable is on an exciting growth journey and we need an extra Platform engineer to help define and be part of our plans to grow the business forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our Tech Stack<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Backend<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PHP 8<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Symfony<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AWS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MySQL<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>RabbitMQ<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Docker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kubernetes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kafka<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jenkins and Github Actions &#8211; we deploy to production as soon as we finish a feature<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Behat, PHPUnit, Jest, Selenium and Detox for automated testing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What we\u2019re looking for<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re on the hunt for a <strong>PHP expert<\/strong> who thrives on scaling platforms, solving complex challenges, and shaping high-performance systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Essential:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>6\u20138 years in PHP<\/strong>, including <strong>2\u20133 years scaling large platforms<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mastery of <strong>PHP 8.0+<\/strong> and modern frameworks (<strong>Symfony or Laravel<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience designing and running <strong>distributed, asynchronous systems<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on skills in <strong>auto-scaling infrastructure &amp;
