By leveraging advanced technology, Fido is shaping a future of opportunity and financial inclusion across the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Join the team and be a part of leading this transformative change, driving impact where it matters most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Head of Operations, you will oversee and optimize Fido\u2019s day-to-day operations while driving strategic initiatives that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, customer-centric delivery, and readiness for scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify and implement tools, systems, and automation to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enable scalability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage key technical service providers and vendors critical to operational delivery, compliance, and service quality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, partnering with Legal and Compliance to mitigate risk and uphold standards across Fido\u2019s operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee operational readiness and execution for product launches, providing strategic input to influence product design and implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee IT operations and asset management within the operations function, ensuring infrastructure, devices, and systems meet business needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with Product, CX, and Collections teams to streamline customer journeys and improve outcomes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage the Operations budget, ensuring efficient resource use while maintaining high service standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build and manage high-performing operational teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who you are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accomplished operations leader with a strong foundation in information systems management, process optimization, and digital transformation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven ability to inspire, lead, and scale high-performing cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on and agile, able to shift between strategic leadership and problem-solving to deliver results quickly across Fido\u2019s operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skilled at collaborating with product and technology teams to leverage data and technology for innovation, efficiency, and service excellence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experienced in managing technical services and vendors, including performance, contracts, compliance, and strategic tooling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experienced in overseeing IT systems, workflow automation, and IT assets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data-driven decision-maker, adept at translating insights into actionable strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a systems-thinking approach and strong sense of ownership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience collaborating across markets in fintech, telecommunications, digital services, or tech-led organizations is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree required; degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or an MBA is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"featured_media":2509,"template":"","recruiter-features":[],"job-types":[11],"tjig-job-categories":[75,10],"class_list":["post-2508","tjig-jobs","type-tjig-jobs","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-types-full-time","tjig-job-categories-project-management","tjig-job-categories-tech-support"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v27.9 (Yoast SEO v27.9) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-premium-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Head of Operations(Ghana) | Tech Jobs In Ghana<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"About the job Who we are: Fido empowers millions across Africa to take control of their finances with ease.
