We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The DBA is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases used in our payment processing systems, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Database Design and Architecture:<\/strong> Plan and design database structures to meet business needs and ensure optimal performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Database Installation and Configuration:<\/strong> Install, configure, and maintain database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Backup and Recovery:<\/strong> Implement and manage database backup and recovery solutions to ensure data availability and disaster recovery readiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Performance Monitoring and Tuning:<\/strong> Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and configurations to improve efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5) Data Security Management:<\/strong> Enforce database security policies, implement access controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6) Capacity Planning:<\/strong> Forecast and manage database storage requirements to ensure scalability for future growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7) Replication and High Availability:<\/strong> Set up and maintain database replication and clustering for fault tolerance and high availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8) Database Upgrades and Patches:<\/strong> Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations while minimizing downtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9) User Management:<\/strong> Create and manage database user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure proper access control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
