You\u2019ll work alongside Business Systems Analysts to design, build, and support the internal tools that make Promasidor tick\u2014from HR processes to quality control to operational efficiency systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll be part of a professional, purpose-driven IT organisation joining the IS (Information Systems) unit, in a purpose-driven tech environment where your work has a tangible impact in developing critical business systems used across the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>What You\u2019ll Do&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-software-engineering\"><strong>Software Engineering<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Develop business software tools that are secure, reliable, and maintainable<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Participate in all phases of development\u2014from design to deployment and support<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to translate needs into code<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-testing-amp-fixing\"><strong>Testing &amp; Fixing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Write and run unit tests for your own code<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Debug issues across environments, from dev to production<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Respond to high-priority live issues as escalated by your line manager<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-continuous-improvement\"><strong>Continuous Improvement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Stay sharp by learning new tools, frameworks, and approaches<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Contribute ideas for improving coding practices, architectures, or tools<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>What You&#8217;ll Bring&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-required\"><strong>Required<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong proficiency in at least one major language (e.g., Java, Python, C#)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with relational databases, version control (e.g., Git), and cloud services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure to Rapid Development tools\u2014ideally Claris FileMaker, or alternatives like Omnis Studio, 4D, LiveCode<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-bonus\"><strong>Bonus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Master\u2019s degree or similar experience (especially for Senior
