If you&#8217;re seeking end-to-end ownership of your work \u2014 you&#8217;ve come to the right place!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-your-team-and-role\"><strong>Your team and role<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working on the Data Science Functional team, you&#8217;ll build machine learning models, conduct statistical analyses, and improve our data processes using tools like Python, Jupyter and SQL, and work on related projects. Recent projects include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deploying fast categorization models for search queries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grading the relevancy of advertisements at scale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expanding our fraud-detection models<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a&nbsp;<strong>Senior Data Scientist<\/strong>, you&#8217;ll work directly with product and business objectives, including our search engine, instant answers, and revenue optimization. You&#8217;ll collaborate with team members across the organization and drive impact through experiments, validating direction and building trust through data, all while becoming an expert in our key metrics like searches, installs, and revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-about-you\"><strong>About You<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>7+ years of experience in Data Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to lead and collaborate on high-impact and complex projects from proposal through post-mortem.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skills to wrangle vague problems, propose innovative solutions, and execute them with a strong focus on metrics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced programming experience, preferably in a high-level language like Python.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And the basics: expertise in SQL and query optimization; familiarity with columnar databases (e.g., Redshift, Clickhouse, BigQuery, or Druid); expertise building data visualizations and dashboards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-compensation\"><strong>Compensation<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>$<\/strong><em><strong>178,500<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<strong>USD annually<\/strong>\u00a0and stock options.\u00a0Compensation is\u00a0identical within professional levels, regardless of geographic location or team.
