This role will have you work on nimble teams supporting our mission to help other builders launch and grow their businesses. This role has a focus on Site Reliability and Database oversight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Infrastructure Management<\/strong>: Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, efficient, and secure infrastructure on GCP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Automation &amp; Infrastructure as Code<\/strong>: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and deployment, ensuring repeatability and reliability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monitoring and Alerting<\/strong>: Establish and maintain robust ongoing monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Incident Management<\/strong>: Participate in on-call rotation and work closely with the engineering team to resolve incidents, conduct post-incident analysis, and implement preventive measures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Security<\/strong>: Collaborate with Security engineers to implement best practices for infrastructure security, compliance, and vulnerability management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Documentation<\/strong>: Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mentorship<\/strong>: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and improvement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Identify and Diagnose:<\/strong>\u00a0Support reliability by identifying emergent or future bottlenecks and work with our product teams to diagnose and implement scalability improvements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proven experience in an Infrastructure role, with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Golang<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of GCP and infrastructure as code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with Cloudflare infrastructure and edge computing technology like Cloudflare Workers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfort in operating with autonomy.
