About the job<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At CSquared, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience, we\u2019re looking for a DevOps engineer who can be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers\u2019 and operational needs . The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and be familiar with Kotlin, Ruby, Python<\/strong>, and will work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended. The DevOps engineer will also help plan projects and be involved in project management decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objectives of this role<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Build tools to reduce the occurrence of errors and improve customer experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Develop scripts to automate visualization<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance \u25cf Implement and manage SIEM (Security Information and Event<\/strong> <\/strong>Management) solutions <\/strong>to monitor security events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Conduct software vulnerability assessments <\/strong>and implement remediation strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Automate security testing and integrate security best practices <\/strong>into CI\/CD pipelines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Ensure compliance with security best practices <\/strong>and industry standards. \u25cf Collaborate with security teams to identify and mitigate potential threats<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Required skills and qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Good knowledge of Kotlin,Ruby or Python<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Working knowledge of databases and SQL, PostgreSQL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Problem-solving attitude<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Collaborative team spirit<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Certification or Working experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform. \u25cf Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions <\/strong>(e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack, or Microsoft Sentinel).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Strong understanding of software vulnerability management<\/strong>, penetration testing, and security patching. \u25cf Experience with cloud security best practices <\/strong>on AWS, GCP, or Azure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preferred skills and qualifications<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Minimum of 5 years experience in developing\/engineering applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
