Summary:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst plays a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This position is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and visually compelling reports and dashboards that reflect key business performance metrics. By leveraging advanced BI tools and automation techniques, the analyst enhances the quality, relevance, and efficiency of reporting processes while ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, deliver ad hoc analyses, and support data-driven initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to operational excellence by identifying trends, proposing data-informed strategies, and enabling self-service analytics through interactive dashboards. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between data and business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver high-impact reports and dashboards using BI tools to support business performance monitoring.
  • Automate and optimize reporting processes to improve accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of insights.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
  • Provide timely data extracts and support to business users of BI systems and applications.
  • Present findings and insights through clear, engaging visualizations and professional communication.
  • Contribute to project delivery by defining scope, managing timelines, and ensuring successful closure under managerial guidance.
  • Support the Operational BI Specialist by executing assigned tasks and contributing to team objectives.
  • Continuously explore innovative approaches to enhance data delivery and analytical capabilities.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Oracle Analytics Server.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle database, and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets and deliver actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to business audiences.
  • Experience in the telecoms industry or familiarity with telecom revenue models is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting team and business goals.
