We are looking for a Mid-Level Laravel Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As part of our development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems using Laravel, contributing to API development, and supporting the integration of frontend and backend services.Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain backend systems using Laravel (v8 or later).
● Build and consume RESTful APIs and work closely with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration.
● Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
● Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
● Troubleshoot and debug applications and performance issues.
● Participate in code reviews, daily standups, and sprint planning sessions.
● Contribute to architectural decisions and project planning.Requirements:
● 2–5 years of professional experience with PHP and Laravel framework.
● Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.
● Experience working with REST APIs, Eloquent ORM, Laravel queues, and middleware.
● Knowledge of modern PHP standards (PSR), Composer, and MVC architecture.
● Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
● Good understanding of security best practices (e.g., input validation, SQL injection prevention).
● Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team.Nice to Have:
● Familiarity with Vue.js, React, or frontend frameworks.
● Testing experience with PHPUnit or Pest.
● Knowledge of Docker and cloud deployment (e.g., DigitalOcean, AWS).
