This is a fully remote opportunity for one of our esteemed clients.

• Cloud & SDN Network Design: Collaborate with Network Architects to develop cloud-native and software-defined network architectures that integrate with on-premises and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Low-Level Design & Implementation: Translate high-level network architecture into detailed deployment designs, ensuring compatibility with cloud and enterprise networking technologies.
• SD-WAN & Hybrid Connectivity: Drive the deployment and optimization of SD-WAN solutions, interconnecting data centers, branch offices, and cloud environments with high performance and security.
• Network Automation & IaC: Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Python to automate network configurations and deployments across cloud platforms.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure network designs align with security best practices (Zero Trust, SASE, IPS/IDS) and regulatory compliance (SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Proof-of-Concept & Testing: Validate new network technologies, SD-WAN vendors, and cloud networking solutions through PoC initiatives, ensuring performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Operational Transition & Documentation: Develop comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials to enable seamless handoff to operational networking teams.
• Incident Response & Escalation Support: Provide escalated troubleshooting and support for complex network issues in hybrid cloud and SD-WAN environments.

Required skills:

• Automation of Global Connectivity Strategy: Implement and optimize automation processes for global networking.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Proficiency in creating and managing robust pipelines using Azure DevOps to deploy network components.
• Cloud Network Management: Experienced in modifying and managing AWS VPCs and Azure V-nets.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced Terraform skills for managing existing and creating new infrastructure.
• API Automation: Strong capability in automating processes via APIs.
• Network Quality Assurance: Ensuring high-quality management and monitoring of network components, specifically utilizing Grafana.
• Containerization & Kubernetes: Competency with containerized environments, specifically EKS and AKS, for hosting network components.
• Python & Scripting Skills: Solid Python programming proficiency.
• Ansible Expertise: Experience in configuration management and automation with Ansible.
• Cloud Connectivity & VMware: Familiarity with cloud connectivity practices and VMware integration.
• Agile & Jira: Experience working within Agile methodologies, managing tasks, and tracking progress through Jira.
• DNS Management: Deep understanding and practical experience managing DNS.
• Infoblox: Exposure and demonstrated capability in integrating and automating Infoblox into pipelines
• Cloud Networking: Strong foundation in cloud-based networking concepts and practices.
