Position Overview:
As a QA Engineer, you will lead one or more of our software engineering cross-functional groups. You will continuously identify opportunities to enhance team effectiveness through feedback from deliveries. You will form a leadership team with the Group Product Manager and Principal Engineer, alongside roles such as an Agile Coach, to bring our products to life. Your focus will be on improving productivity and quality, directly collaborating with team members to refine daily routines, implement new tools, and apply best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, review, and execute automated and manual test cases.
- Analyze function design, use cases, and requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with the Development team to deliver high-quality software.
- Troubleshoot issues and write clear, detailed bug reports.
- Support root cause analysis for identified issues.
- Continuously improve test processes and frameworks to increase efficiency.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and Agile development processes.
- Experience testing web services and APIs.
- Experience with any database management system.
- Experience in web and mobile testing.
- Experience with non-functional testing.
- Ability to deliver high-quality results on time while managing multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with mobile automation tools like Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Flutter Driver/Patrol.
- Expertise in web automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Puppeteer.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, Java, and Python.
- Experience integrating regression test suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Experience with API automation tools such as RestAssured or Karate.
- Experience with performance/load testing tools like JMeter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing.
- ISTQB-FL certification is a plus.
