Casantey Business Solutions Group Limited is seeking an experienced Web Developer with deep expertise in React and Next.js to join our on-site team in Accra. This role is ideal for a developer with a strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and a passion for building performant, scalable, and reliable web applications that serve both public and private sector clients across Africa.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Web Developer, you’ll take ownership of key projects using React (v18+) and Next.js (v14+, App Router) with full-stack capabilities. You’ll work closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers to build high-quality applications that leverage modern development practices like Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), API Routes, and Middleware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build scalable web applications using React and Next.js (App Router structure)
- Implement advanced data handling with React Query v5 (TanStack Query)
- Integrate APIs using Axios, including custom interceptors for request/response flow
- Optimize applications for performance using SSR, SSG, and ISR strategies
- Create and manage API routes and middleware within the Next.js framework
- Collaborate with the design and backend teams to ensure UI consistency and API alignment
- Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of professional experience with React, including at least 2 years working with Next.js (App Router preferred)
- Proficient in React Query (TanStack Query v5) for data fetching, caching, and synchronization
- Solid experience with Axios, especially handling interceptors
- Strong understanding of full-stack capabilities in Next.js: SSR, SSG, ISR, API Routes, Middleware
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and build tools
- Experience with performance tuning and scalable architecture
- A team player with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks
