Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Senior Android Developer at Qace Property Company Ltd. The Senior Android Developer will be responsible for mobile application development, Android design, software development, and Android development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
- Implement real-time features including GPS tracking, route optimization, and live updates
- Build seamless user interfaces for both drivers and passengers
- Integrate payment gateways and third-party APIs
- Optimize app performance and ensure smooth user experience
- Collaborate with backend teams to implement robust API integrations
- Maintain code quality through testing and code reviews
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of mobile app development experience
- Strong proficiency in iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java)
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin)
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON
- Experience with real-time features and WebSocket implementation
- Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Experience with app store submission processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with ride-sharing, delivery, or location-based apps
- Knowledge of mapping services (Google Maps, Mapbox)
- Experience with push notifications and background processing
- Understanding of mobile security best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
