📝 Project Goal
Build an automated, robust data pipeline to ingest, process, and transform complex aviation
datasets, establishing a scalable, long-term data framework.
️ ️Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
● Pipeline Build: Design and build an automated ETL/ELT pipeline for aviation data ingestion and transformation.
● Code Foundation: Develop reusable, orchestrated scripts using Python, dbt, and SQL for all data workflows.
● Documentation: Create clear Source-to-Target (S2T) mapping diagrams detailing data flow, logic, and business rules.
● Quality & Governance: Develop Data Quality (using dbt) and Data Stewardship (using Streamlit) modules for monitoring and human-in-the-loop data correction.
● Standards: Follow IATA development and CI/CD practices.
● Transfer: Document work and perform knowledge transfer to internal staff.
🧠 Required Profile (What You Need)
● Experience: 7+ years in Data Engineering/Architecture, ideally in regulated industries.
● Core Skills: Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and dbt.
● Platform: Strong experience with Snowflake and AWS services.
● Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling and S2T mapping.
● Quality: Hands-on experience designing and implementing data quality frameworks/validation checks.
● Bonus: Familiarity with R for statistical transformations.
● Soft Skills: Excellent documentation and communication skills.
